Pexeso was my attempt to elevate the game of memory to an adult audience. The theme of the cards highlights the animals of the Sonoran desert and the circular formation requires that the player really focus to distinguish between the cards. All elements were handcrafted and began as ink illustration.

This was a mapping project that geographically placed all of my first dates. I wanted to explore the humor that is 'online dating'.
The color, type and linework was done with ink and watercolor. The background and layout were done digitally.

The images will become an alphabet book that goes geographically by the letter and the location I took the photo.

This project is a landscape installation that explored the effects of the sun on the earth. I found this site in the Santa Cruz riverbed in Tucson. Over three weeks I slowly removed tiles and filled them with colored clay. The clay would harden and crack over time, becoming a colored replication of the original tile removed.
