This was a mapping project that geographically placed all of my first dates. I wanted to explore the humor that is 'online dating'.
The color, type and linework was done with ink and watercolor. The background and layout were done digitally.

This project began as a bikeride from central to south Tucson. I photographed the rich signage that adorns South Sixth Ave buildings.
The images will become an alphabet book that goes geographically by the letter and the location I took the photo.

Over three weeks I slowly removed tiles and filled them with colored clay. The clay would harden and crack over time, becoming a colored replication of the original tile removed.
